Inuit child – This was an outstanding subject to work with offering several new challenges and that meant new personal growth. The main challenge was the construction of a child’s facial subtleties in her natural skin tones in a small area. I’ve never tried it before. It took more thought than I believed it would, but finally came out OK. Your comments are welcomed.

Portrait Study3 – I’ve tried something completely out of my comfort zone here. First I used colors I don’t normally use crimson, light yellow, cobalt blue, along with old familiars white and black. Second I’ve used a completely imaginary subject. And third, I’ve tried to stay looser in my style; all relatively foreign to me in the past. I’ve said it before and here it comes again.
