Innocence - I haven't done a portrait in some, so recently when a picture of a young child was suggested as the basis for a painting I decided to try it. I altered the portrait from the picture to a good degree and attempted to create a feeling of child innocence. Your comments are welcome.

Mother and Child - Another deviation and challenge for me; a little more of an old fashioned look and introduction of a color I have no experience with. This was really fun and a new learning experience. Your comments are welcomed.

Inuit child – This was an outstanding subject to work with offering several new challenges and that meant new personal growth. The main challenge was the construction of a child’s facial subtleties in her natural skin tones in a small area. I’ve never tried it before. It took more thought than I believed it would, but finally came out OK. Your comments are welcomed.
