Pot and Red Bartletts - A lot of you have noticed that I haven't posted anything since early June. In answer to all your inquiries, we've been on vacation in Alaska once again. Innocence - I haven't done a portrait in some, so recently when a picture of a young child was suggested as the basis for a painting I decided to try it. I altered the portrait from the picture to a good degree and attempted to create a feeling of child innocence. Your comments are welcome.

Three Red Bartletts - More Pears. If anyone had told me a year ago that I would be painting pears today and really enjoying it I would have probably retired from painting and started working again. I couldn't have imagined it, but yet here I am today painting and posting pears. When I start one of these I can lose myself for hours at a time. When I'm finished I really feel relaxed and usually happy with outcome. I like the way this painting turned out, I guess it's the composition and warm tones combined. Your comments are welcome.
