The Boatyard
I haven’t painted in some time as my using my hands is
becoming problematic due to an onset of arthritis so decided I would try again
and see what happened.
I got the idea of this painting while looking through some
old pictures I took while traveling on business in about 1990 or 1991 in the Chesapeake
Bay area somewhere south of Baltimore. It was early morning and the fog was starting
to lift and the sunlight was coming through it. I love the atmosphere..
Another plus is that for several years I’ve
been looking for a painting idea that would look good in this frame and I
think I found it..
