Yellow Pansy - The light from above and behind creates shadows on the satin background and illuminates the delicate flowers to create real contrast. This reminiscent of something old fashioned, but then I'm old fashioned so I guess it fits. To me, it's pleasing to the eye. Your comments are welcome.

Wine Flute - Here we go again with something new for me. I've never attempted to paint clear glass before. I really enjoyed the first try, also I've very pleased with the outcome. Something had to set it off so I tried a couple of impressionistic peaches and a branch. If you look carefully you can pick up the colors in the glass. I would appreciate your comments...
