California Coast Range - The spring in the California Coast Range Mountains, hillsides and other similar places is alive with millions of wild flowers. The colors mix on the hillsides and move back and forth with the breezes. Purples, greens, yellows and oranges, almost neon in intensity all gather together to form natural bright colored beauty. My wife and I witnessed these natural phenomena over the last few days as we traveled this week to and from southern California on highways I-5, 46 west to Paso Robles and up in Carmel-Monterey our day's destination. I would recommend this drive and season to any traveler who has never experienced it. Your comments are welcome.
