P51 Mustang in flight -16 x20 on stretched canvas

One quick look at the rest of my paintings will tell you that this one is a departure for me. I’ve ventured into unfamiliar, if not unfriendly, territory. I don’t have much experience with blues and I’ve never done an airplane before, although as a child I used to draw them a lot; I think that helped. This was exceptionally difficult as I attempted to picture the P51 with a polished metal exterior (no paint). I think it came out pretty well. Life gets dull without challenges and achievements. This was a real challenge. I would appreciate your comments PLEASE

I got this far on this one this morning after starting it a little while back. After looking at it I decided to post it now and then do the few little updates I want to do and update the picture when completed. I'll call it NUDE #2-Deanne.. I'm going to put it up for sale after the updates. Watch for it soon here and on Ebay.

10/21/2007 Well, I've done some updates and posted a new picture, but I'm still not real happy with it so I'll keep working on it.

Peach Cala Lily No. 3 - 9 x 12 Oil $69.00 + $10 S & H to USA

I thought it was time for some fall colors so painted another Peach Calla Lilly on 9 x 12 Canvas board. The Calla Lilly is such a graceful flower and there are so many species that you can do calla lilies for any season. This one is almost pumpkin!!!

This is an extremely versatile painting because it would look good if hung in either landscape or portrait fashion. I'll not sign it until the buyer specifies how they want to hang it therefore the signature will look appropriate.

In Thought *** $89 + S & H *** 11 x 14 inches, Original Oil Painting

I've been really busy here at the house on a special project and due to that I haven't posted any work for almost a couple of weeks. I should be able to get back to my old schedule from this point on.

In thought, 11 x 14 on canvas board, completed yesterday is another moody work reminiscent of artsy photography. I'm sure I saw a photo similar to this sometime in the past.
